Shakti Fire šŸ¦ā€šŸ”„ Cider

Here is your winter immunity boost recipe (and home-made holiday gift idea)


You will need a 1 quart glass mason jar with lid and parchment paper.


Here is how to make it:


  • 1 medium onion chopped

  • 10 garlic cloves, chopped or smashed

  • 2 jalapenos, sliced

  • 1 organic lemon (grated the skin and juice it)

  • 1/3 cup grated ginger

  • 3 or 4 sprigs of fresh rosemary

  • 1 TBSP black peppercorns, freshly ground

  • 1 TBSP green cardamom pods, crush the pods open

  • 2 blood oranges, finely sliced

  • 3 or 6 ceylon cinnamon sticks

  • 1 TBSP cloves

  • A big dallop of raw, local honey

  • Apple cider vinegar


Add all of the ingredients to the glass quart mason jar.

Cover completely with the Apple Cider Vinegar.

Make sure to push all the ingredients down as much as possible.

Place a piece of parchment paper over the lid and then place the lid on top of that.

Shake daily, and store in a cool, dark place for one month.


Sip daily and enjoy a robust immune system this winter season.


You can also add this to your salad dressing or dishes that could use some spicing up. Just do not heat up this elixir because honey can not be heated.
